The distance of Phulchari upazila is about 11.00 km from Gaibandha district town. From Gaibandha district town to the east from Madan Para to south to Kali Bazar. From Gaibandhar old market (Gafur Market) you have to come through Balasi Road to Madan Para, then from Madan Para you have to take the right side road to Samiti Bazar and from there you have to take the right side road and come straight to the road for some time.
The ink market has to be passed through a few markets. Upazila administrative officer's jail is there. If you want to come from Phulchari to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer's office, then first you have to come to Bharatkhali and then you have to come by CNG or rickshaw along Badiyakhali road. Before reaching Badiyakhali, you will see a road coming down on the right. You will come straight to Kalirbazar along that road, you will find Upazila Parishad building on the north side of the market.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer's office is on the second floor of this building. Note: If you don't have your own vehicle then you have to come from Gaibandha Old Market by battery operated rickshaw. (Uno office from Phulchari is now Kali Bazaar due to river erosion)
